The best SEO agencies for remodeling contractors in 2026 are (1) Searchbloom, (2) Builder Funnel, (3) Comrade Digital Marketing, (4) Hook Agency, and (5) Socius Marketing. They score highest on the five things that turn a homeowner's search into a signed remodel: local SEO and Google Business Profile work for every showroom, remodeling content and project pages, the technical state of the website, lead tracking in cost per lead, and documented remodeling results. Among the agencies that publish a price, Main Street ROI starts at $550 a month, Comrade at $1,500, Hook Agency at $2,800, and Builder Funnel at $3,500 after a $15,000 site build.
Searchbloom publishes this guide and is one of the 10 agencies ranked. It ranks itself first on one published company: a four-showroom kitchen and bath remodeler whose organic traffic rose 280% and produced 60 more qualified leads a month, and whose Google Ads account went from 3 conversions in a January to 44 the next, with the cost per conversion stated by month. Builder Funnel, the remodeler-only specialist, scores one point behind on a deeper case library, and the profiles say so. Every fee, floor, term, and result on this page was checked on the agency's own website on October 13, 2026, and each result links to its source.

Remodeling SEO Agency Comparison
Each agency was scored out of 50 on five criteria worth 10 points each, on remodeling and home improvement evidence. The table shows the total, the situation each one fits best, and who it says it serves. Fees, floors, and terms are in the next table.
| Rank | Agency | Score (/50) | Best for | Focus |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 47 | Local SEO and Google Ads for a remodeler, measured in leads and cost per lead | SEO, Google Ads, and CRO as one engagement; remodeling is one of several home services verticals | |
| 2 | 46 | Remodelers and custom builders only, with dated revenue results | Residential remodelers and custom home builders, exclusively | |
| 3 | 44 | Home services contractors only, with a published price list and dated remodeling results | Owner-operated home services contractors at $1 million to $10 million | |
| 4 | 43 | Contractor-only SEO and ads with every price on the page, and calls listened to | Contractors and home services only; roofing, HVAC, plumbing lead, with a remodeling page | |
| 5 | 42 | Three named kitchen and bath remodeling case studies and a Premier Partner ads team | Home improvement, home services, and healthcare; owned by EverCommerce | |
| 6 | 40 | A 300-person home services agency with Blue Corona folded in | Residential contractors; HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing lead, with a remodeling page | |
| 7 | 39 | Founded by a former HVAC owner, with cost per lead in its case studies | Home services only; HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, windows | |
| 8 | 37 | Month-to-month local SEO from $550 a month for smaller contractors | Small businesses; names remodeling and general contractors among its industries | |
| 9 | 37 | Local Services Ads management with no contracts and no setup fees | Home services, law, medical, and others; HVAC, plumbing, pest control, pools named | |
| 10 | 33 | Bundled web, SEO, and ads at published monthly prices, with one renovation contractor result | Small businesses across industries; one high-end renovation contractor case |
"A remodel lead from organic search and one from Local Services Ads cost different amounts, and most remodelers never see the split. I'd ask the agency for cost per lead by channel every month. If it reports traffic, it is reporting the thing that does not make money."
~ Cody C. Jensen, CEO & Founder, Searchbloom

What Each Agency Costs, and Who It Will Not Take
Remodeling agencies price three ways: a monthly retainer, a site build followed by a retainer, or a quote after a call. Six of the ten publish a fee, four publish a revenue or budget floor, and Hook Agency and Comrade say who they are not for, which saves a call. Where a cell says not published, the agency's site did not state it on the check date, so ask for it in writing.
| Agency | Fee | Floor | Terms |
|---|---|---|---|
| SEO from $3,000 a month; rises with market competition, locations targeted, and scope | No revenue floor stated; engagements start at $3,000 a month | No lengthy contracts | |
| Website foundation $15,000 or $25,500, then $3,500 to $7,500 a month, plus technology from $540 a month and ad spend | Plan on 3% to 5% of goal revenue for marketing; no hard revenue floor published | 12-month recurring contract after the build | |
| Revenue Engine from $4,000 a month; local SEO from $1,500; SEO tiers $3,000 to $5,500 | Owner-operated home services businesses at $1 million to $10 million in revenue | Its pricing page recommends a 12-month commitment; its home services page says month to month, cancel anytime | |
| Local SEO $2,800 a month; PPC from $2,000; AEO $4,000; websites $12,000 or $24,000 split over 12 months | $3 million to $15 million in revenue on its homepage; over $2 million on its remodeling page | 12-month SEO contracts, then month to month; its remodeling page says no long-term contracts | |
| Not published | Not published | Not published | |
| Not published | Remodelers typically invest $5,000 or more a month, per its remodeling page | Not published; you own your website outright | |
| Not published | Not published | Not published | |
| SEO $550 to $2,000 or more a month; Google Ads management from $750 a month | No minimum ad spend; at least $1,500 a month combined is recommended for monthly management | Month to month with 30 days notice | |
| Not published | Not published | No contracts, no setup fees | |
| SEO from $2,000 a month; bundles $750 to $7,500 a month plus setup fees | Not published | No contracts |
Two numbers decide the real cost. The floor: Hook Agency wants $2 million to $3 million in revenue, Comrade $1 million to $10 million, and Builder Funnel suggests 3% to 5% of goal revenue as the budget. The term: Builder Funnel and Hook ask for 12 months, Comrade says both 12 months and month to month on different pages, and Main Street ROI, Lemonade Stand, Blue Bee Web, and Searchbloom work without a long-term contract. Searchbloom's SEO starts at $3,000 a month and rises with how competitive the market is, the locations targeted, and the scope, stated on its home page; its local SEO page lists general contractors and garage door companies among the home services it works with.
What the Ten Publish, and What They Do Not
Before the first call, here is what each agency's own site states in plain words, read on October 13, 2026. A yes means the figure or practice is on the site; anything else is partial. 6 of the ten publish a fee, 4 publish a revenue or budget floor, 5 publish their contract term, 8 publish at least one result with a time period, 2 say they report cost per lead or cost per qualified lead, and 8 name Google Business Profile work. No agency publishes all six. Searchbloom publishes its starting price, its no-contract position, a dated Google Ads result, cost per conversion reporting, and Google Business Profile work, and does not publish a revenue floor; its SEO result carries no period. Searchbloom and Comrade Digital Marketing publish the most, five of the six each. Leadhub and Lemonade Stand publish the least, one each.

How We Scored These Agencies
A remodel starts with a search that carries a city or a near me, lands on a page that has to show real projects, and turns into a lead that the showroom has to track to a signed contract months later. The score weighs the work at each of those steps. Each criterion is weighted equally at 20% per criterion (10 points each), for a 50-point total. Per-criterion breakdowns appear in each profile below.
- Local SEO and Google Business Profile (10 points). Profile management and a location page per showroom, with published local results.
- Remodeling content and project pages (10 points). Service pages per project type, project galleries or video, and who writes them.
- Technical SEO and the website (10 points). Site speed, mobile, structured data, and URL structure, and whether the agency builds or fixes the site itself.
- Lead tracking and cost per lead (10 points). Call tracking, form attribution, CRM stages, and reporting in cost per lead by channel.
- Documented remodeling results (10 points). Case studies with a named or described remodeler, a stated metric, and a time period.
Every agency on the list is one you hire to run the work. Facts come from each agency's own website, checked on the date above. Case study figures are each agency's own reporting; a result with no stated period is marked that way in its profile. Firms on Searchbloom's AI-visibility exclusion list are not ranked in the top five. No agency paid for placement.
The 10 Best SEO Agencies for Remodelers
Each profile follows the same order: a one-line summary, the scorecard, who it fits, an overview, published results with links, fees and terms, and when another agency is the better pick.
1. Searchbloom
Summary: Searchbloom, a search marketing agency in South Jordan, Utah, publishes a kitchen and bath remodeler's local SEO result and the same remodeler's Google Ads result, with the cost per conversion stated by month, and runs both under one engagement without a long-term contract.
Quick facts: Founded December 2014. South Jordan, Utah. Clutch 4.9 across more than 100 reviews.
Scorecard: Local 10, Content 8, Technical 10, Tracking 10, Results 9. Total: 47/50.
Best for: Kitchen, bath, and design-build remodelers with one to several showrooms that want local SEO, the website, and Google Ads run by one team and reported in leads and cost per lead.
Overview: Searchbloom is a search marketing agency founded in December 2014 and based in South Jordan, Utah. It runs SEO through its A.R.T. methodology (Authority, Relevance, Technology), Google Ads through its ACE method (Assets, Control, Experimentation), and conversion rate optimization, with the three measured together. For a remodeler that means Google Business Profile and location pages for every showroom, service pages mapped to the terms homeowners search, the technical work (site speed, mobile, structured data, URL structure) listed in its published remodeler case study, and ads judged on cost per conversion. It is a Google Premier Partner, holds a 4.9 rating on Clutch across more than 100 reviews, and works without long-term contracts.

Best Agency by Remodeler Situation
The ranking answers which agency is strongest overall. These picks answer which one fits your size, your showrooms, and your budget.
If You Run a Design-Build Firm Above $3 Million
Pick: Builder Funnel, then Searchbloom. Builder Funnel works only with remodelers and builders and publishes three design-build results with revenue and dates; Searchbloom's remodeler result adds Google Ads measured in cost per conversion next to the SEO.
If You Have Several Showrooms
Pick: Searchbloom, then Comrade Digital Marketing. Searchbloom's published remodeler had four showrooms and its 34-store retailer result shows the same local work at scale; Comrade sells local SEO from $1,500 a month per engagement with geo pages for each market.
If You Want Every Price Before the Call
Pick: Hook Agency, then Comrade Digital Marketing. Hook publishes a price for every service it sells, from $2,800 a month for local SEO to $24,000 for a custom site; Comrade publishes its tiers from $1,500 to $5,500 and its $4,000 bundle.
If You Also Run HVAC or Plumbing Lines
Pick: RYNO Strategic Solutions, then Leadhub. Both are built around the trades, with ServiceTitan partnerships, Local Services Ads management, and cost-per-lead case studies for HVAC and plumbing companies.
If You Are Under $1 Million
Pick: Main Street ROI, then Lemonade Stand. Main Street ROI starts SEO at $550 a month with no contract; Lemonade Stand manages Local Services Ads with no contracts or setup fees. Hook Agency and Comrade both state they are not a fit below $1 million to $2 million.
If Project Photos and Video Sell Your Work
Pick: Builder Funnel, then Socius Marketing. Builder Funnel's Showcase build includes on-site filming, four long-form videos, and drone footage; Socius publishes three named kitchen and bath references and partners with the cabinet, window, and siding manufacturers your showroom carries.
If You Want Cost per Lead on the Monthly Report
Pick: Comrade Digital Marketing, then Searchbloom. Comrade states that it reports qualified leads and cost per qualified lead, and its Kitchen Cabinet Guys result shows that figure down about 71%. Searchbloom's published remodeler ads account states cost per conversion by month, from $186.54 to $113.08.
If You Run Google Ads Next to the SEO
Pick: Searchbloom, then Hook Agency. Searchbloom's published remodeler went from 3 January conversions to 44 the next January at $113.08 each, with the SEO for the same company producing 60 more qualified leads a month. Hook publishes pay-per-click from $2,000 a month and a $264 cost per qualified lead on a $10,500 monthly budget.
If You Will Not Sign a 12-Month Contract
Pick: Main Street ROI, then Blue Bee Web. Main Street ROI bills month to month with 30 days notice and starts SEO at $550 a month; Blue Bee Web states no contracts and starts SEO at $2,000 a month. Builder Funnel and Hook ask for 12 months.
If Your Google Business Profile Needs a Turnaround
Pick: Socius Marketing, then Hook Agency. Socius turned Hometown Restyling's profile around within two months, and that remodeler's leads went from 169 in year one to 252 in year two. Hook's profile work includes weekly posts and review responses inside its $2,800 a month local SEO.
If You Need a New Website First
Pick: Builder Funnel, then Hook Agency. Builder Funnel starts every engagement with a $15,000 Build or $25,500 Showcase site with service, project, and landing pages; Hook builds WordPress sites at $12,000 or $24,000 split over 12 months. RYNO launches custom WordPress sites in about 14 weeks.
How to Read a Remodeling Case Study
Every agency on this page publishes numbers. Read a remodeling case study from the signed contract backward.
- Revenue or sales count. Builder Funnel's Odd Fellows result (about $2.4 million in added design-build revenue on a $42,000 retainer) and Socius's Hometown Restyling result (sales from 35 to 56) are stated here. Ask what share the agency attributes to its own work; Blue Bee Web's $5 million figure does not say.
- Leads and cost per lead. Searchbloom's remodeler account (44 conversions at $113.08 each), Comrade's Kitchen Cabinet Guys (qualified leads up 181%, cost per qualified lead down 71%), and Hook's Lorenz account ($264 per qualified lead) are stated here. This is the level a monthly report should reach.
- Traffic and rankings. Necessary, not enough on their own. Searchbloom's 280% organic gain, Comrade's 1,037% at Zenith, and Main Street ROI's 552% for a painter sit here; the first two carry a lead figure next to them, the third does not.
- The period. Comrade, Builder Funnel, Hook, and Socius date theirs. Searchbloom's SEO result carries no period and says so; its ads result is stated by month. Main Street ROI, Lemonade Stand, and RYNO's remodeling testimonial carry none.
What the Local Services Ads Move Does to Your Lead Cost
Google is moving Local Services Ads into Google Ads as a Performance Max campaign type for pay-per-lead goals. Its transition page says the first phase began in August 2026 for select home and storefront service advertisers in the United States, service-area businesses without storefronts follow in late 2026, and remaining categories and non-US accounts move in 2027. After migration the original Local Services Ads dashboard is gone, manual bidding and industry-level target cost per action are deprecated, the weekly budget is divided by seven into a daily one, performance reports do not carry over, your Google Verified badge transfers, and you still pay for valid leads rather than clicks. Google emails the account administrator 14 days before the scheduled date.
For a remodeler with a showroom that means the paid lead channel moves into the same account as Google Ads, under one campaign-level target. Export your Local Services Ads reports before your date, because they will not migrate, and ask your SEO agency whether it manages the ads account or only reads it. Searchbloom runs Google Ads management and local SEO as one engagement, with its published remodeler account as the example; Hook, RYNO, Leadhub, Lemonade Stand, and Builder Funnel manage Local Services Ads today.
How to Choose an SEO Agency for a Remodeling Company
- Count your showrooms and your project types. Each showroom needs a Google Business Profile and a location page; each project type (kitchen, bath, addition, whole home) needs a service page with real projects on it. That count sets the scope every agency should quote against.
- Ask for a remodeling result with a company name and a period. Searchbloom, Builder Funnel, Comrade, and Socius publish them. A traffic percentage with no name and no dates is a graph, not a result.
- Ask how a lead gets back to the search that produced it. Call tracking, a form field for the source, and a stage in your CRM for signed. Ask for cost per lead by channel, because a remodel lead from organic search and one from Local Services Ads cost different amounts.
- Check the revenue floor and the contract term. Hook Agency and Comrade state who they are not for; Builder Funnel and Hook ask for 12 months; Main Street ROI, Lemonade Stand, and Searchbloom do not. Price the exit before you sign.
- Add up the fee, the build, the technology, and the ad spend. Builder Funnel's $3,500 a month sits on top of a $15,000 build, $540 a month of technology, and ad spend. Compare totals, not retainers.
Questions to Ask Before You Sign
- Show me a remodeler you work with, the metric, and the period.
- How does a lead get tracked to the page and the search that produced it, and will you report cost per lead by channel?
- What is the revenue floor, the contract term, and the total monthly cost with the site, the technology, and the ad spend added in?

What Changed in Local Search in 2025 and 2026
Three changes affect how a remodeler should judge an SEO agency.
- Local Services Ads are moving into Google Ads from August 2026 (see above), with home and storefront services in the first phase. The agency that runs your SEO will be judged against a paid channel that now sits in the Google Ads account, so the two should be reported together.
- Google's March 2026 core update was released on March 27, 2026 and finished rolling out on April 8, 2026. Google published no guidance on who moved. If your site runs a page per city, compare those pages in Search Console before and after April 8 before you hire anyone to fix them.
- Google's AI features documentation, last updated December 10, 2025, says there are no additional requirements to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode, and its one business-specific best practice is keeping your Business Profile information up to date. An agency selling answer engine optimization as its own line (Hook charges $4,000 a month for it) should be able to say what it does beyond that.
Questions and Answers
What is the best SEO agency for remodeling contractors?
The best SEO agencies for remodeling contractors in 2026 are Searchbloom, Builder Funnel, Comrade Digital Marketing, Hook Agency, and Socius Marketing, scored on local SEO and Google Business Profile work, remodeling content and project pages, technical SEO and the website, lead tracking and cost per lead, and documented remodeling results. Searchbloom publishes a kitchen and bath remodeler's local SEO result (organic traffic up 280%, 60 more qualified leads a month) and the same remodeler's Google Ads result (cost per conversion from $186.54 to $113.08); Builder Funnel is the remodeler-only specialist with three dated revenue results.
Which SEO agency is best for kitchen and bath remodelers?
Searchbloom, Socius Marketing, and Comrade Digital Marketing each publish a named kitchen and bath result: Searchbloom's Gilman's Kitchens and Baths (four showrooms, organic traffic up 280%), Socius's Hometown Restyling (leads from 169 to 252 and sales from 35 to 56 across two years), and Comrade's Kitchen Cabinet Guys (qualified leads up 181% over 18 months). Builder Funnel's three results are design-build remodelers whose work includes kitchens and baths.
How much does SEO cost for a remodeling company?
Among the agencies on this page that publish a price, Main Street ROI runs $550 to $2,000 or more a month, Comrade Digital Marketing from $1,500 a month for local SEO and $3,000 to $5,500 for full SEO, Blue Bee Web from $2,000 a month, Hook Agency $2,800 a month for local SEO, and Builder Funnel $3,500 to $7,500 a month after a $15,000 or $25,500 site build. RYNO says remodelers typically invest $5,000 or more a month across its services, and Hook Agency will not take a remodeler under $2 million in revenue.
Does a remodeler need SEO if it already runs Google Ads and Local Services Ads?
Yes, because the two channels pay differently. Searchbloom's published remodeler account shows what ads do: 44 conversions in a January that had produced 3 the year before, at $113.08 per conversion. Its published SEO result for the same company shows what organic does: 60 additional qualified leads a month with no per-click cost. And from August 2026 Google is moving Local Services Ads into Google Ads as a pay-per-lead Performance Max campaign, so the paid side is changing while organic keeps compounding.
What should a remodeler ask an SEO agency before signing?
Four things: who writes your service and project pages and whether you own them; whether the agency manages your Google Business Profile for every showroom; how a lead gets tracked back to the page and the search that produced it, in cost per lead, not clicks; and a remodeling result with a company name and a period. Then read the contract term, because on this page it runs from month to month (Main Street ROI, Lemonade Stand, Searchbloom) to 12 months (Builder Funnel, Hook Agency).
Should a remodeler hire a remodeler-only agency or a home services agency?
A remodeler-only agency (Builder Funnel) knows the sales cycle, the project pages, and the showroom walk-in; a home services agency (Hook, Comrade, RYNO, Leadhub) brings Local Services Ads and call-rating practice from the trades; a search agency that runs SEO, ads, and conversion as one engagement (Searchbloom) reports all three in leads and cost per lead. Pick by the result each one publishes for a company like yours, not by the label.
